Problem: Learners are unable to recommend the appropriate beekeeping supplies/equipment for customers. Learners are unfamiliar with beekeeping terminology and do not understand how different products meet specific customer needs.
Audience: All new-hire company employees will take this training.
Solution: An eLearning course was developed in Articulate Rise so that, upon completion, learners will be able to recommend the appropriate beekeeping supplies/equipment for customers by explaining how different products meet specific customer needs.
Highlights: Click to reveal interactions, tab interactions, accordion interactions, and knowledge checks.
Process: I started by analyzing the audience, problem, and content for the training and used Google Docs to create the design document linked below. After the design document was created, I developed the course in Articulate Rise and used Canva for some of the images.
Kirkpatrick's Level 2 Evaluation: The final graded assessment consists of five scenario-based questions. Learners must earn an 80% to pass the course. The learner has unlimited attempts to pass. There are two ungraded scenario-based knowledge checks throughout the course.
Kirkpatrick's Level 3 Evaluation: To assess the learners' knowledge of Beekeeping Supplies and their ability to make appropriate recommendations, interviews with the manager and a review of the data on customer satisfaction will be conducted six months after the training is completed.
